Every hole is distinctly different and calls for an arsenal of shot-making skills and strategy to provide the maximum golf experience.  The golf course meanders through assorted landscapes and provide variety of play to all levels of golfers. Five separate lakes tempt golfers on 10 holes, and a coral creek makes its way through the middle of the golf course and affects play on 13 holes.
The course rises and falls in elevation so the golfer is faced with a variety of wind conditions and many uphill and downhill holes; sidehill lies wait for those who miss the fairway on a few holes. The green complexes range in size and character to reflect the design intent of each hole.

Frommer's Review
This is actually two golf courses in one. The par-72, 6,222-yard Hawaii Kai Championship Golf Course is moderately challenging, with scenic vistas. The course is forgiving to high-handicap golfers, although it does have a few surprises. The par-3 Hawaii Kai Executive Golf Course is fun for beginners and those just getting back in the game after a few years. The course has lots of hills and valleys, with no water hazards and only a few sand traps. Lockers are available.
Hawaii Kai Executive Golf Course
The fairway is guarded by OB and a sand bunker on the left side and a pond on the right. Hit it down the center and debate whether to go for the green on two. Or simply lay up just short of the sand bunkers to the right. Another hour-shaped green to test your skills.
Ko'Olina Golf Course
Ko Olina Golf Club is located just minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki on Oahu's beautiful West Coast.
5th Hole
Luana Hills Country Club

There is only one water hole but any ball lost in the bushes plays as a lateral water hazard.  This course is surrounded by 100 feet tall trees.  It is 18 holes, par 72; 6595 yards.
Mililani Golf Course
Since opening in 1966, the par 72, 6,455-yard Mililani Golf Club has established itself as one of Hawaii's finest golf experiences. Nestled on a plateau, with the Waianae Mountains and the Ko'olau Mountains stretching away in the distance, Mililani Golf Club provides a "get away from it all" feeling of remoteness. The course beautifully carves its way through Norfolk Pines, Eucalyptus Trees, African Tulip trees, and lush tropical Hawaii foliage, in bloom all year around.
